Podcasts continue to rise in popularity, with forecasts for global listenership exceeding 500 million in 2024. What's more, with over 5 million shows, this form of media offers a treasure trove of (often) free resources we can adapt for the language classroom. In this free workshop, podcaster and teacher trainer Laura Wilkes shares how we can use podcasts as a teaching resource with our teenage and adult English language students. Laura will share practical examples of how freely accessible podcast content, such as The Goalkeepers Podcast Series by ELi Publishing Group, can be used to develop learners' language skills and creativity.
